SHIPPING POLICY
Please select appropriate shipping option at checkout. Depending on your location items will be delivered within 7 to 10 days of your order being processed. We do not have rush shipping option, however customers can arrange pickup in case they wish to do so. The delivery will be up to the front door, if there are steps at the entrance or a porch, then the delivery will be at the bottom of the stairs or porch. For customers in the Apartment buildings, delivery will be to the main building entrance, unless lift is available , in which case it will be up to the customer door. Customer will need to be present to take delivery and sign the delivery note. If customer is not present, delivery will not be made, and customer will be liable for additional charges as elaborated below.
Out of Stock/Backorder Products
In some cases items will be backordered and out of stock. You will be notified within 48 hours with an estimated delivery time, at which time you may opt to cancel your order at no additional charge. We cannot give out exact delivery dates since we are waiting for these products from the factories. In some cases this can take up to 16 weeks.
Shipping Damages
When the merchandise is received, we ask that you inspect the outside of the boxes or packaging for any shipping damage. In the event there is noticeable damage to the boxes or packaging, we ask that this is noted on the bill as “Damaged Cartons - Subject to inspection”. If you find there is damage to the product contact us at outdoor@patiosense.ca within 24 hours of receiving with a detailed description of the issue along with a photo and we will take care of the rest. Please do NOT assemble damaged items.
Canceling Orders
Orders once processed can be cancelled within 24 hrs without any charges and your full money minus the payment processing fees will be refunded. Please note payment processing fees charged by Square will be charged back to the customer as this fees is not refunded back by Square.
Refusing Delivery
If you refuse, or miss your delivery appointment you will be responsible for all return and any re-shipping costs . We will not be able to leave the order without your signature. In case you do not take the delivery at all or are not found, we will refund 50 % of your order value minus $300.00 +HST to the original payment method.
Return Policy
Product that is unopened , unused , unassembled and in its original packaging may be returned for a refund or a credit within 7 days of delivery accompanied with an original receipt as per following applicable conditions
a. You have changed your mind and now do not like the product : the item may be returned within 7 days of delivery or pick-up for a refund or credit minus a 30% restocking fee. You are also responsible for all return shipping costs upto $ 300.00 +HST. Refunds will be processed based on the original method of payment.
b. If an item is delivered damaged : please report it to us within 12 hours of delivery with a detailed description of the issue along with a photo. It will then be assessed with delivery note photos , we will advice if the item will be repaired, replaced or credited towards another item.
